Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Despite the long book and parts that are quite bored, I managed to enjoy and like the character in this book. This book is about a guy name Ethan and a girl name Lena who fall in love each other after they met. They already met in a dream before met each other in their real life. Lena is from a Caster family and Ethan is from a Mortal family. The problem occur when they fall in love because there's a curse that Caster and Mortal can not be together. So, they must find a way to  break the curse to live together.

 I like the setting of this book where a Caster and a Mortal met in a dream but they did not each other until they met in high school and fall in love. I also like this book because it is written from Ethan's point of view. I know its hard to find YA books that is written from boy point of view. My favorite part of this book was when they went out for the first time at cinema. It's kinda funny from Ethan perspective about went cinema together with a girl that he like. And also the part when Lena in the process of Claimed when her Uncle, Macon sacrifice himself to save Ethan.

This book is a story about a boy name Jacob who was 16 years old and his journey to Miss Peregrine's Home. Basically, his grandfather always tell him about peculiar children and show him strange picture. He didn't really trust his grandfather story but on the day her grandfather died, he saw a monster that have tentacles on its face. From that day, he want to find the truth about all pictures and Miss Peregrine's Home. He then went to an island to find the home with his father and found out the whole story about Miss Peregrine's Home.

 I think this book was okay but I didn't really enjoy reading this book because I has slow pace. I do enjoy the world that Ransom Riggs created where there are some peculiar children who have different ability but I have problem to remember the character. I like this book because it has many pictures in it and it easy for me to imagine while reading this book. I found its kind of awkward about relationship between Jacob and Emma because Emma used to be Jacob's grandfather girlfriend but in this book both Jacob and Emma fall for each other.

Divergent is a story about a girl name Beatrice who choose faction over her family. She lived where there are 5 faction which are Abnegation ( the selfless), Amity ( the peaceful ), Dauntless ( the brave ), Candor ( the honest ) and Erudite ( the intelligent ). Before this, Beatrice is an Abnegation where her family also belongs to Abnegation but after the aptitude test, she choose to be a Dauntless instead of an Abnegation. She is a Divergent because her aptitude test result is not usually same with other person who take the test. She has more than one faction in herself. After choose Dauntless, she have to face an initiation process before become a real Dauntless. If she didn’t manage to pass the initiation process, she will become factionless ( a person who doesn’t have any faction ). But when the initiation process begin, she notice something mysterious that actually lead to a big event.

I love the romance in this book even its not that much in this book. It really sweet to see how Tobias a.k.a Four protect Tris from dangerous. All I can say that Tris is such a strong girl because she face all difficulties on her own. But she managed to face it very well.

I think the ending is a cliffhanger even it has a quite good ending, but I really want to know what really happen to them after the attack ended. What happen to Abnegation people? I'm so glad that I need not to wait for second book.

Seriously, I fell in love with this book after reads about 50 pages. All I can say this book is full of value moral such as kindness and friendship  This is a story about a special boy named, August Pullman but his family and his friends called him Auggie. He has a disease that infect his whole part of his face.The mean word is deformed. He went through his first year in the school and many things happen during the school year.

One things that I like about this book is it was narrated by Auggie and the people around him. There are point of view from her sister,Via, his best friend,Jack and even from Via's boyfriend,Justin. The readers can know what other feels about Auggie instead what Auggie feel about himself and I thought its cool.

I give this book 5 out of 5 because of the moral value. I can actually feels being a special person as I read through this book. This book touched me as I'm reading more about Auggie's feeling about his friends when he had been betray by his own best friend.

The Lightning Thief is the first book in the series Percy Jackson and The Olympians. The series consist of 5 books. The main character is Percy Jackson who is 12 years old and diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. He is a son of Poseidon, The Sea of God. He has ability and get stronger when near to the water.

I like the way Rick Riordan's writing style because it makes me enjoy and excited when reading this books. The plot of this book is very exciting since it about the adventure of Percy Jackson and his friends to complete the quest that had been given to them.

Truthfully, I already watched the movie before I read this books.So, its easy for me to imagine what happen when I'm reading it. But I was upset because the movie is very different from what I have read. They change the details.For example,Percy get the Poseidon Pearls from Naiad.But in the movie, Percy have to find the pearls in each place in the quest. In the movie,they didn't scene where Grover talk to animals. It's quite interesting if they put the scene where a poodle help them in their quest.
